Here at the Ambleside Tavern, we pride ourselves on offering fresh, homecooked food which is all locally sourced in the Lake District area. From our Thwaites battered fish and chips, to our Cumberland sausage and onion gravy, we have something to suit everyone’s hunger! We are proud to serve a variety of Thwaites cask ales and seasonals, these all pair perfectly with our food menu . Our bar is also stocked with a variety of spirits, wines and soft drinks to suit everyone’s taste.

We are also the only pub in Ambleside to show Sky and BT sports! Keep an eye out on our social channels for upcoming fixtures we are showing.
